DocuSign : Mutual (Main) Sub-Account
Overview:
The Mutual Sub-Account in DocuSign is used for all paperwork that is not specific to Fidelity, TD Ameritrade, or Schwab. Clients who sign paperwork in this sub-account must be verified with Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA). The Advisor does not need to use KBA if they are signing with their work email.
Important Notes: Advisory Services will automatically receive a copy of all paperwork submitted through this sub-account. If a client fails the KBA process, all you need to do is resend the envelope to the client and a new series of questions will be generated.
1. Make sure the top right corner shows the Mutual Logo next to your initials/profile photo
2. Once the envelope is created, use the fields below to add recipients. If an Advisor does not need to sign but still wants to receive a copy, you can change the role to "Receives a Copy" by clicking the "NEEDS TO SIGN" button to the right of the Advisor's name.
o (reminder: Advisory Services will automatically receive a copy of all paperwork submitted through this sub-account)
