NAP-RAP Letter

NAP-RAP Letter

NEW ACCOUNT PROFILE (NAP):

When an account is transferred to the Mutual Group (The Evolve4Advisor Program), the client will receive either an encrypted email or a mailed document. This document is called the New Account Profile (NAP) and is required by FINRA.

-         This letter will be sent within 30 days after the account has been transferred to the Mutual Group.

-         It is to prevent fraudulent or criminal activity, such as identity theft.

-         The client is to review the information on the NAP for accuracy.  If the information is correct, no additional steps are needed, and the client can file the document away for his/her records.

-         If any information is incorrect, please respond to the email or return the document with the corrections.  Mutual Group will then correct the information in our internal system, and you will receive an updated NAP letter.

RENEWAL ACCOUNT PROFILE (RAP):

On the three-year anniversary of the account being transferred to the Mutual Group, a RAP letter will be sent via an encrypted email or a mailed document to ensure the information on file such as: the client’s name, address, account ownership or financial suitability information, has not changed.

-         This is also required by FINRA to prevent suspicious activity.

-         If the information contained in the RAP letter is still accurate, no additional steps are needed.

-         If any of the information has changed, the client should provide the updated information by responding to the email or return the letter with any changes.  The Mutual Group will then update our internal system.
